Hop on the 10.30am train from Puffing Billy’s Belgrave Station to immerse yourself in the lush rainforest and beautiful fern gullies of the magnificent Dandenong Ranges.

Stopping off at Puffing Billy’s Emerald Station, enjoy the afternoon spent wandering under the tall trees of the Dandenong Ranges, and enjoy the open air artisan festival aligned with Melbourne Food & Wine.

The Hills Art Market offers a huge variety of hand-made art by local artists from the surrounding regions showcasing painting, pottery, sculpture, wood carving, illustrations, jewellery, felt and more. Come meet the locals, hear the stories, taste the food, sample the wines, discover the art and experience the music of our region. Also, the very popular Cuban 50s funk band, Madre Monte, will be performing live on the day.

Lose yourself in a feast of creativity in the magical natural surroundings of the hills environment behind Emerald Puffing Billy station.

Return to Belgrave on the 2:40pm train, and continue the adventure back to where the road may lead you...
